We've created a simple checklist to help prepare for your canine bed bug inspection:

• Keep most things where they are: It can be tempting to move items out of an infested, but it’s important that you don’t. Doing so can spread bed bugs around your home, making it more difficult to eliminate them.
• Don’t apply pesticides: Our dogs have sensitive noses and pesticides can interfere with their ability to detect bed bugs.
• Make a clear path: We need easy access to the inspection area, so you may have to slightly reposition furniture or other large items.
• Remove all dog and children's toys: These items can be distracting to our bed bug sniffing dogs and should be removed from the inspection area (Note: only non-cloth toys should be removed, as cloth toys hold the scent of bed bugs.)
• Be present: In order for us to inspect your home, we need someone to let us inside and remain present throughout the inspection.
