This is a great company comprised of people that are true professionals and, equally important, really good people. The current ownership purchased the operation approximately 3 years ago. We had been a longtime customer prior, and the new folks, headed up by Chris and Aurora, have taken a good company and made it that much better. Great work, very fair pricing, and ALWAYS responsive when you need them. I’d give them 6 stars if it were an option.

I asked for help with rats under my mobile home, which on one occasion had gotten into the house. Brandon and the technician team set traps for the rats but none were stupid enough to get caught. The team blocked the underside of my house with cement and rocks to prevent rodent entry. About three weeks later, one rat was found in a trap. Brandon noticed that there were a few places missed on the blocking procedure and scheduled more exterior work. After that, he set more traps. He returned today and found no more rats in traps. Apparently, the rat battle has been won by the humans.

I have been using Crown and Shield for almost 10 years after getting a severe ant invasion in my kitchen. In those 10 years I have only ever had an ant invasion once and they came out and sorted it out the next day. Definitely recommend them.

All Crown & Shield staff, the folks at the main office and the technicians who come to our home, are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. They're almost always able to squeeze us in for last minute or same day appointments if a new issue comes up. They tolerate my endless questions, charge a fair price, share helpful tips and best practices, and (most importantly!) have helped clear up the pest issues in our house -- ants and mice. David arrived on time, was thorough in his services, investigating the whole situation, describing all aspects of the job and what we should expect. He advised us of precautions we should take once he treated the yellow jacket nest as to how the bees would respond/react immediately and going forward. So far so good. I’ve just had the second indoor treatment for ants. the technician, Sophia, is very knowledgeable, showed me what she was doing, and made some recommendations for patching areas once the ants are gone.
